Earlier today I gave the first of two webinars that represent the final pieces of the Physiopedia MOOC on AI for Healthcare Professionals that I’ve been working on for a few months.

The aim of this webinar was to provide insight into how physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals can use generative AI to enhance personal and professional productivity, and integrate AI into their daily workflow.

This webinar is for all rehabilitation professionals interested in maximising artificial intelligence (AI) for productivity and clinical application. The focus of this webinar is on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for personal productivity in the context of rehabilitation, and builds on the short courses that preceded it. The core of the webinar introduces strategies for effective AI collaboration, treating AI as a colleague while maintaining human oversight. Practical examples demonstrate AI applications in administrative, evidence-based practice (EBP), planning, and content creation. Ethical considerations are also addressed. Throughout, the webinar will emphasise AI as a tool to enhance rehabilitation skills, providing a starting point for integrating AI into practice through small, manageable steps.
