I don’t think of the people I’m speaking with as content generators, even though that’s essentially what they’re doing. In the same way, you don’t have to think of AI as a content generator, even though that’s essentially what they’re doing.
There are different ways of framing our engagement with AI, and the focus on content generation misses an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of generative AI as a paradigm-changing technology.
