I was trying to get a cover image for a presentation on ‘digital health’ and wanted to avoid pictures with doctors at computers. I didn’t include “doctor” or “computer” in the initial prompt, but Copilot kept including them even when I explicitly said to avoid it.
And I understand why that happened. There’s a strong association in the training data between “digital” and “health”, and “doctor” and “computer”.
But surely it’s easy enough for Copilot to have a quick look at the picture it generated, compare it to the request, and make a decision about whether it’s met the requirements.
I wonder if it’s too expensive to check?
