Trying to get better at getting better

I’ve spent the last month or so doing a fairly substantial update to the Head space website, including the following:

  • Created posts for every newsletter that’s gone out over the past 2 years.
  • Integrated all of the relevant videos from my Thinking in Public YouTube channel. I’ve also updated all of the video thumbnails (turns out that ‘colour’ is better than ‘no colour’).
  • Started creating posts for all the Tweets I posted from the Head space Twitter account (which I no longer use).
  • Created a Library of resources that presents all of the above in an easy-to-use catalogue.

It’s not complete (I still have a ton of Tweets to move, for example) and I’m not completely satisfied with the structure and presentation of the new library pages. But it’s complete enough that I think it’ll be useful for anyone interested in moving towards a state of calm productivity in an academic context.

If any of the resources above look like they might have some value, consider signing up for the bi-weekly newsletter where I share insights, habits, and tips focused on academic productivity.

And if you think Head space is a worthwhile project, please take a moment to tell a friend about the site, or share it on the interwebs.

Thanks.
