Trying to get better at getting better

Today I’m excited to share that the Head Space website has undergone a visual refresh, bringing a cleaner, more modern aesthetic to the project. The update is part of an ongoing commitment to helping academics create the mental space they need for meaningful work, which is reflected in a less cluttered and more focused interface.

The new design emphasises simplicity and calm – values that are at the heart of what I’m trying to achieve with Head Space. I’ve streamlined the navigation, reduced visual clutter, and made it easier to find whatever it is you’re looking for.

Some key improvements include:

  • A simplified layout that helps you focus on the content
  • Better organisation of articles and resources in the library (although the landing page for the library still needs work)
  • Improved readability across all devices
  • Faster loading times and smoother performance, especially on mobile devices

This refresh is actually part of a larger vision for Head Space that I’ll be sharing more about in the coming weeks. For now, I invite you to explore the updated site and let me know what you think.
