One of the things I found most frustrating about today’s sessions on TEL, was the uncritical position taken by many (most?) of the presenters.
While they talked about the challenges faced when using technology, I don’t remember anyone talking about how technology might actually be bad.
If technology can be used to include, it can also be used to exclude.
For every use of technology that helps lift someone up, there is a use that breaks them down.
Talking about technology as an unqualified Good, is not helpful.
