Over the past couple of years I’ve been reading, writing, and thinking about the impact of generative AI in academia. And during that period I was also making notes. Lots of notes. I’ve finally used those notes to complete the Generative AI for Academics Head space course that I’ve been working on.
The aim of the course is to help academics develop a practical understanding of integrating generative AI into an academic workflow, and to enhance productivity and creativity across various aspects of scholarly work.
The objectives of this course are to:
- Write structured prompts to enhance the quality of genAI outputs.
- Engage more deeply with genAI as a reading companion.
- Write more effectively using genAI as a writing coach.
- Create academic content with genAI.
- Learn more effectively using genAI as a tutor.
The course is discounted by 25% until the end of October 2024. Find out more here.
Note: If this general topic looks interesting to you, I’m also working on courses that cover AI for research, multimodality in AI for academics, and AI for learning. If you’d like to be notified when these courses are available, sign up for the Head space newsletter here.
