Stop comparing the output of generative AI with the best human. Most people in the world don’t have access to the best human. In most cases, they don’t have access to any expertise, let alone the best human expert.
AI doesn’t have to be better than the best human to be successful. It only has to be cheaper than the average human. This is true, whether we’re talking about education, health, or any other industry that enhances human well-being.
Unfortunately, this perspective is lost to almost everyone fretting about the co-called harms of AI.
