Postgraduate studies

My doctoral project is on the use of social media and other emerging technologies to enhance teaching and learning practice within a physiotherapy undergraduate curriculum, using a blended learning approach.  In the interest of openness I’m going to try and make my progress as transparent as possible, which is why I use a wiki to document everything I do, in a public space.

You can see what I’m up to on this blog, on Twitter, and in my teaching portfolio.

Useful information for your NRF research report!

Hi Jolanda. It was good to meet up again. It’d be nice to chat about your research, and maybe about ways to incorporate Facebook into practice without having to give up rights to our content :-)

We met at the 2010 Geek Retreat. I enjoyed your presentation on 13 April at CPUT, organised by Fundani. I teach at the Department of Architectural Technology and, in my doctoral studies, I am looking at the online environment for learning architecture. I disagree with you about the use of facebook ;-) Let’s talk about it.
